What are fairground light components?
Fairground light components are the individual parts used to build traditional fairground and marquee lighting. They include cabochon caps and bases, lampholders, cables, connectors and LED modules – everything needed to create classic fairground lighting with modern LED reliability.
What is the difference between E10 and E14 components?
E10 components are smaller, with a 40mm cabochon cap and E10 screw fitting – perfect for compact signs and detail work. E14 components are larger, around 60mm, offering a bolder light effect for rides, façades and large displays.
Are these components suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Many of our fairground light components are IP44, IP54 or IP65 rated, meaning they can be used outdoors for signage, rides and event lighting. Always check the product specification for the correct IP rating before installation.

What's in This Collection

Cabochon Caps & Bases

The decorative plastic covers only — available in E10 (40mm) and E14 (60mm) in 15 colours. Order these when you need to replace damaged covers or change the colour of specific points within an existing installation, without replacing the full unit.

LED Bulbs

E10 and E14 24V LED modules matched to standard fairground lampholders. Order these when building a system from individual parts or replacing failed bulbs in an existing installation. E10 and E14 bulbs are not interchangeable — check your lampholder fitting before ordering.

Spike Lampholders & Face Nuts

E10 and E14 spike lampholders with self-piercing connections for mounting through panels, letters and sign faces. The E14 face nut is used to secure G45 golfball installations. Choose the correct size to match your cabochon cover — E10 lampholders for 40mm covers, E14 for 60mm.

Wire Adaptors

5m double wire adaptors for extending connections between lampholders and power supplies. Supplied with lever connectors for quick, secure termination. Useful for reaching power supplies positioned away from the display face or for connecting multiple letter sections.
