What is a 5V LED driver?

How do I choose the right 5V LED driver?
Match the LED voltage exactly to the driver (5V) and choose a driver with 20 to 30 percent more wattage than your total LED load. Select IP20 for indoor use or IP67 for outdoor installations.
Can I use a 5V LED driver for LED strips?
Yes. A 5V LED driver is ideal for powering 5V LED strips. Always check that the strip voltage matches the driver output and that the driver wattage covers the full length of the strip.
What is the difference between a 5V LED driver and a 5V power supply?
