The Classic 128 LED Light Sheet (No Lens) is custom-manufactured exclusively for WeLoveLEDs™ to meet demanding requirements for flexible, cuttable LED panels. By removing the beam angle lenses found on standard panels, we've created an ultra-slim 5.8mm profile that excels in tight-depth applications. The natural 120° beam angle from the 2835 LEDs provides focused illumination perfect for enclosed applications and custom shapes.
The flexible PCB design achieves a 25mm minimum bend radius, allowing panels to wrap around curves, corners, and 3D forms. Cut marks at every LED position enable precise trimming - follow the lines to create intricate shapes, complex logos, or custom designs that rigid panels cannot achieve. Without pre-attached connectors, installers have complete control over wire entry points, essential for irregular shapes and tight installations. All connection points are clearly marked with solder pads for positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.

Soldering & Electrical Connections
Connection Method: All electrical connections must be soldered directly to the marked connection points on the PCB. Solder pads are clearly marked with + (positive) and - (negative) symbols. Use quality rosin-core solder and a temperature-controlled soldering iron (320-350°C recommended).
Wire Gauge: Minimum 0.5mm² (20 AWG) cable recommended for single sheet connections. For daisy-chaining multiple sheets, use 0.75mm² (18 AWG) or larger depending on total current draw.
Power Distribution: Panels can be connected in parallel, with each sheet drawing 1A at 24V. When linking multiple sheets, ensure cable gauge is sufficient for cumulative current (e.g., 4 sheets = 4A, requires 1.0mm² cable minimum).
Cutting & Customisation
Custom Shapes: The LED sheet features clearly marked cut lines at every LED position, allowing precise trimming to create intricate shapes, logos, curves, and irregular designs. Cut along marked lines using sharp scissors or a craft knife - the flexible PCB cuts cleanly without damaging adjacent LEDs.
After Cutting: Once cut, solder new power connections to the exposed connection points nearest the cut edge. Multiple connection points around the panel perimeter provide flexibility for wire routing. Seal cut edges with silicone conformal coating if operating in humid environments or within sealed enclosures.
Design Freedom: The combination of flexible PCB, 25mm bend radius, and cut-at-every-LED capability means you can create virtually any shape - from simple rectangular trims to complex organic curves and detailed logos.
Installation & Compatibility
- Mounting Method: Pre-mounted 3M-equivalent adhesive tape on rear surface; bonds to acrylic, polycarbonate, metal, wood, and smooth plastics
- Power Connection: Solder wires directly to marked + and - connection pads; multiple connection points available around panel perimeter
- Compatible Power Supplies: Any 24V DC constant voltage LED power supply; calculate total wattage and add 20% overhead (e.g., 4 sheets = 96W load, recommend 120W+ power supply)
- Compatible Dimmers: Works with any 24V DC PWM or 0-10V dimmers rated for total system load
- Maximum Chain Length: 10 panels per power supply connection; larger installations require multiple power zones with independent wiring
