Our UG2_WLL connectors are similar to 3M's Scotchlok UB2A IDC Connector.
They make a moisture resistant tap splice connection between three solid-copper conductors of air-core or filled cable.
Pre-crimp feature equates to a time saver for the craft person. 
Sealant is a mineral oil-based grease
