WHAT'S IN THIS SECTION

This section covers the hardware and wiring components that support a fairground lighting installation. Cabochon caps and bases are available in E10 and E14 fittings across 15 colours — mix and match to create multi-colour displays or replace damaged units. Lamp holders come in spike-base versions for both E10 and E14, with face nut variants for panel-mount installations. Cable and connectors include 1.5mm LSZH LED cable rated to 25A and double wire adaptors for extending or branching runs.

E10 OR E14 — WHICH DO YOU NEED?

E10 (10mm thread) is the standard fitting for smaller festoon-style bulbs and most traditional fairground strings. E14 (14mm thread) is used for larger cabochon units and globe-style bulbs. Check your existing holders or bulbs before ordering — caps and holders must match the fitting size.

BUILDING OR REPAIRING

For new builds, start with your bulb and holder selection, then work out cable run length and connector requirements from there. For repairs, cabochon caps and lamp holders are the most commonly replaced parts — having the right thread size is all you need to get a direct match. If you're not sure what you need, drop us a message and we'll help you spec it out.
