Rechargeable 12V battery packs for portable LED installations – power your strips, modules, and neon flex wherever mains electricity isn't available.

Whether you're lighting a market stall, powering fairground signage, or creating portable displays for events, these lithium-ion battery packs deliver clean, reliable 12V power for hours at a time. Available in 12.5Ah (150Wh) and 20Ah (222Wh) capacities, both with 5A maximum output, built-in BMS protection, and standard DC 5.5x2.1mm connectors for plug-and-play compatibility with most 12V LED products.

Choosing the Right Battery Pack

Both battery packs share the same 5A (60W) maximum output – the difference is runtime. The 12.5Ah pack suits lighter loads or shorter events, while the 20Ah pack provides 60% more capacity for full-day trading or larger installations. For loads exceeding 60W, split your LEDs into separate electrical sections with one battery per section.

Compatible 12V LED Products

These battery packs work with any 12V DC LED product. Popular choices for portable applications include 12V LED strips for display lighting, LED modules for sign illumination, and LED neon flex for decorative effects. Check your product's wattage to calculate runtime – simply divide the battery's Ah rating by your total current draw (watts ÷ 12).

Connection Requirements

Each battery includes DC 5.5x2.1mm male and female connectors with 20cm leads. For loads under 3A, use standard DC extension cables and connectors. For higher loads between 3-5A, cut off the DC connector and use lever splice connectors for a connection rated to handle the full current safely.

Charging & Accessories

Batteries arrive partially charged and require a compatible 12.6V 3A charger (sold separately). The 12.5Ah pack charges in approximately 4-5 hours, the 20Ah in 7-8 hours. Both packs are rated IP20 for indoor use – for outdoor events, house the battery in a suitable weatherproof enclosure.
