Our 60mm pixel cabochons are in 2 parts, the acrylic cabochon and the LED housing. The LED housing has 2 waterproof 3pin connectors on 110mm cables.
These Pixel cabochons can be used with a simple Pixel controller for hundreds of preprogrammed effects and colours, or can be individually controlled to create complicated patterns using computer software, a pixel controller and a Pixel SPI Decoder.
These are individually addressable LEDs, meaning unlike the DMX512 Cabochons which are controlled in a group, these are designed to work individually or as a group depending on which controller is used.
They connect to each other using the 3pin connectors and can be extended up to 512 lights in one run, with power injected every 30 lights using a Controller & Power Injection Cable

Each unit comes with two 100mm clear leads exiting out of the back with one male and female 3 pin connector.
The lights can be spaced 100-250mm apart, or even further by using a Pixel Extension Cable.
They connect to each other using the 3pin connectors and can be extended up to 512 lights in one run, with power injected every 30 lights using a Controller & Power Injection Cable
Drill a 30mm hole in your panel or letter face and push the LED housing through from the back. On the front of the panel/letter, take the acrylic cabochon and screw onto the LED housing. This will trap itself in situ. The wires on the back of the light can then be connected to the next light and so on.
Max thickness of material for the lampholder to push through is 15mm.
